About The Timeshare Channel

Our company has been involved in the timeshare industry since 1992, with experience at all levels, from sales and marketing right up to project directing and resort developing.

After a short break away from the industry, a former contact who owns a timeshare resort asked us if we could help his owners sell some of their properties and make sure his owners were happy with the ownership that they had.  This seemed an innocent enough request. However, we soon discovered that there was a problem.  We were not sure which, if any, companies would handle the sale of timeshares without wanting huge fees up front or taking massive commissions  We have however since found there are a couple of good companies in the UK that will actually help.


The problem in a nutshell:
A developer does not want the weeks back or to lose out on maintenance fees that are needed to keep the resort running.

A client who wishes to surrender their timeshare(s), often becomes the subject of unscrupulous companies who are asking for monies upfront on the promise of having a pot full of gold waiting on the other side. Clients end up paying over the odds to try and sell their ownership with no result at the end of it. Timeshare owners just got left wondering what to do as in most cases nothing has happened and the companies have disappeared of the face of the earth. With changed travel plans and ongoing and increasing maintenance commitments, the client now feels reluctant to pay those maintenance charges and in many cases the resort owner sees no other solution then taking court action. As the timeshares will be in the estate, clients are increasingly worried as the maintenance burden will eventually pass on to their next of kin.


What we did to solve this

After several lengthy chats with exchange companies; timeshare owners and resort developers we decided to put together a small group of like-minded individuals to help everyone involved and find ways to make everyone happy again and turn the word timeshare on its head once and for all.
